		Joan S. Amon graduated from Syracuse University in upstate New York in 1980. After graduating in 1986 from Suffolk Law School in Boston, she went right to work trying cases. First, on behalf of insurance companies where she learned first hand how insurance companies evaluate cases and the tactics used to detect fraudulent claims. Then, on behalf of individuals injured in car accidents, slip and falls, on construction sites, and as a result of product and industrial mishaps.
